Historic Christ Church & Museum offers diverse and entertaining programs, including lectures, music, special events, and educational activities. Each year we plan new programs for volunteers and the community. We invite you to become a part of our vision for the future.
Becoming a volunteer at Historic Christ Church & Museum is simply a matter of completing a short application with your contact information, background, and areas of interest. All ages and abilities are welcome. Once your application is submitted to our administrative office, you will be contacted by a member of our Volunteer Council. These friendly volunteer leaders can help find a role that is tailor-made for you!
You may choose multiple volunteer positions or just one. For example, some volunteers are regular weekend docents throughout the season (April 1 to November 30), others serve on committees year-round, and yet others volunteer for special events such as the greening of the church at Christmas or baking cookies for receptions.
We understand that everyone has a family, community, and other time commitments, so we offer flexible scheduling, especially in the winter when many folks head south.
Historic Christ Church & Museum volunteers can take advantage of lifelong learning programs, annual spring training, mentoring, tours, and special events. You will meet interesting colleagues from all walks of life with a common love of learning and stimulating projects.
