By making a planned gift you are helping to ensure that the mission of the Foundation for Historic Christ Church is kept alive — preservation, research, interpretation, and education. In order to build Historic Christ Church’s endowment and to ensure the long-term financial health of the Foundation, the Board of Directors has committed to moving forward with a planned giving program. A “planned” gift is one which allows the donor to plan a major charitable commitment now and also retain the use of the funds or property. The Foundation for Historic Christ Church receives the benefit at some point following the lifetime of the donor. |
| In many instances, a planned gift may offer the only opportunity for a friend to recognize or support a special purpose in his or her chosen cause. But several other benefits – including income or estate tax benefits – may also be available, depending on the choice of asset or type of arrangement selected. | If you would like to consider making a planned gift to Historic Christ Church, you may print out a Planned Giving Form . | To print this form, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free here: You may also contact our Executive Director at cbennett@christchurch1735.org or 804.438.6855 to request the appropriate materials. | | ||||||

If you would like to become a member but have not yet taken the steps to do so, please let us know so information can be sent to you about some of the creative, tax-wise opportunities that can be beneficial to both you and Historic Christ Church. You are encouraged to consider supporting Historic Christ Church through a planned giving or life-income arrangement. Many appreciate the personal security their trusts have given them and are gratified to know that their gifts will make a significant, long-term difference in preserving one of this country’s most unique and historic places. It is the steadfast commitment of friends like you which has made Historic Christ Church such a venerable institution. |
