| Annual Giving | |
| Annual Giving is the cornerstone of the Foundation’s yearly operating budget. The operating budget supports the school programs, volunteer activities, community outreach, maintenance of the grounds, maintenance of the auxiliary buildings, and, occasionally, preservation projects, when their cost exceeds the capacity of the Preservation Fund. | |
| Annual Fund | |
| Our fiscal year runs January 1 – December 31. Each gift, large or small, is gratefully received. If you would like to participate, you may print out the Annual Giving form. | |
| To print this form, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free here: | |

School and children's programs, which are provided free of charge, are central to Historic Christ Church's educational mission. Historic Christ Church offers educational programs to students from around the Northern Neck and surrounding counties. Our programs target 4th-grade Virginia Studies Standards of Learning (SOLs) and feature a range of hands-on activities in an object-based learning environment. |

Without the contributions of the Foundation's 280 active volunteers, the success of the many programs at Historic Christ Church would be very limited. As ambassadors to the 10,000 annual visitors and to the community at large, volunteers support the Foundation's mission in a variety of capacities: clerical assistance, costume design, docents/tour guides, school programs docents, flower arrangers, herb gardeners, librarians, newsletter editor, receptionists, researchers, press clippers, and Special Group Tour Guides. |

Community outreach is also an important part of the Foundation's mission. Examples of such programs over the last several years include Public Lecture Series, Historic Publications Series, "Churchyard Celebrations," community participation in archaeological excavations, sponsoring History Fairs, and summer library programs. |

Christ Church is situated in a pastoral setting, which was designed, created, and funded by the Garden Club of Virginia in 1967. The grounds feature flowering trees, beds of day lilies, an expansive English meadow, a boxwood bordered herb garden, and a colonial cutting garden. This lovely panorama is a beautiful setting for the church. |
